In June 1998， Jupe， Mayor of Bordeaux， former Premier of France led delegation to visit Wuhan and became sister city of Wuhan．In 1999， both cities initialed a cooperative agreement on electromotive vehicle project．Both cities proposed a concept of Chinese-France cooperation in Wuhan Industrial Zone．Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Bordeaux Commercial College have signed an agreement on jointly running MBA Course to train senior commercial and administrative talents．At present， there are many students studying in Bordeaux．In Nov．2001， Mr．Hu Jintao， Vice Chairman of China visited Bordeaux and said that the cooperation between Bordeaux and Wuhan was the best friendship in development of China and France． |
