On Oct．29， 2000， Cheonju and Wuhan became sister cities．The delegation of Cheonju attended First Wuhan Exposition of Mechanical and Electrical Products and Third Economic and Trade Fair．Cheonju has established international airlines to Beijing， Qingdao， and Shenyang．In Oct．1999， Wuhan-Cheonju chartered flight line was opened．In Nov．2001， Kin Dong Zhu， Deputy Mayor of Cheonju led delegation to visit Wuhan and signed friendly exchange plan of 2002 between both cities with Wuhan．Huazhong University of Science and Technology， Wuhan No．6 Middle School， and No．2 Yucai Primary School have established respectively cooperative relationship with the educational institutions of Cheonju． |
