It　was　a　day　for　rest.　The　weather　being　fine，　everybody　went　out，and　so　did　I.　My　friends　and　I　went　shopping　in　Hankou　and　did　not　return　until　it　was　dark.　As　we　walked　from　the　gate　of　the　university　to　my　dormitory，　it　suddenly　occurred　to　me　that　I　had　forgotten　to　buy　something　I　needed，　so　I　went　into　a　small　shop　for　it.　When　it　was  time　to　pay，　I　reached　into　my　pocket　for　my　wallet　but　couldn't　find　it　anywhere.　I　got　a　big　surprise　and　anxiously　told　my　friends　about　it.　I　did　not　know　what　to　do.　I　wouldn't　have　worried　so　much　if　there　had　been　only　money　in　the　wallet.　But　all　my　credentials，　such　as　my　student　identity　card　and　my　residence　permit　were　in　it.　And　these　things　were　important　to　me.　Back　in　my　dormitory　I　had　no　mind　to　do　anything.　I　wished　that　it　be　picked　up　and　returned　to　me　with　just　those　important　things.

    Two　days　had　passed，as　I　walked　through　the　lobby　on　the　ground　floor　to　see　if　I　had　got　any　mail，the　janitor　called　me　over　for　something.　I　wondered　why，　because　I　had　never　had　much　to　do　with　him.　He　told　me　that　somebody　had　called　while　I　was　out　and  had　asked　him　to　pass　on　to　me　a　box.　I　returned　to　my　dorm　and　opened　the　box.　I　opened　my　eyes　wide　and　could　not　believe　what　I　saw.　It　was　my　wallet　that　had　been　lost　two　days　before.　I　looked　inside　and　found　everything　still　in　there.　Not　even　a　cent　was　missing！I　jumped　up　in　great　joy.　But　who　was　the　person　that　had　picked　it　up　and　returned　it?　I　had　no　idea.　it　moved　me　deeply　and　I　shall　never　to　forget　it.
