Spring Festival in Wuhan
When I was a little child, I learnt that China is an ancient and civilized country, a friendly neighbor to Nepal, Our two countries are departed by the Himalayas, the highest mountains, The other side of the Himalayas is the place I dreamed to go,The Spring Festival was coming soon after I had come to China. We had two-week holidays. I knew the Festival is the most iraportant one in China.  But to my surprise, in the first two days of the lunar year, there were much fewer cars and walkers on the road and even the snack restaurants I went often were closed too. It seemed something unhappy had happened to the city. It was really curious to me, Isn't Spring Festival the greatest festival in China? Why did it seem so depressed? I felt lonely and bored。That was my first Spring Festival in China.

In no times, my second Spring Festival came.  I was afraid I have to face the boring and desolate days again. But on the eve of the festival,a Chinese classmate invited me to his family to spend the holidays.

The atmosphere was very thick in his family.  His father, mother, grandpa and other folks gathered in the house talking, watching TV happily.  They warmly welcomed me and treated me very friendly and enthusiastically. His mother cooked a lot of delcious dishes---the real Chinese dishes I mean, and Wuhan's loal snacks. I had heard that Chinese dishes the reputation。famous in the world,it really deserves the reputation.  I couldn't help eating a lot without modesty. Really, I still remember the tasty and delicious dishes today.  After the dinner, I watch'ed many interesting Spring Festival programs on CCTV and on WHTV with the family. Without any notice, the bell rang, the New Year came. Although it was the first time I visited a Chinese family, their enthusiastic manner made me at home. I feel no longer a stranger to Chinese society, and I reverted greatly my former impression of Chinese traditional festivals. In fact, the Spring Festival is the time for the folks to gather and to celebrate. How funny! No wonder the cars and people in the streets were so scarce.

My third Spring Festival in China was very cheerful too. The friend invited me again to have dinner with his family. But this time, not in his home, but in a hotel we had the New-year dinner Along with the development of the society and the progress of the living-level of the people,Chinese have changed greatly in their minds.  More and more people celebrate the lunar year in hotels as time goes by。 Many Wuhanese came to toast to me while we had dinner and blessed me in a good health.

I've visited many cities in Chinese。 But once talking with my friends, I should always say Wuhan is the most beautiful and unforgotable. It has four distinct seasons, convenient in traffic and communications, with a lot of scenic spots, like the East Lake, the Yellow Crane Tower, Guiyuan Temple and other landscapes. Wuhan develops rapidly. But above all, people's warm-hearted and friendly attitude make me warm as if I were in my hometown.
