The first duty-free shop in Wuhan, capital of Central China’s Hubei Province, has been packed with shoppers in recent days who wanted to grab imported products at cheaper rates during the New Year holiday.
Enthusiastic consumers snapped up products like cosmetics, fruits, milk powder and snacks, promoting a sudden spike in sales figures.
The Optics Valley bonded commodity display and trading center in Wuhan Eastlake Free Trade Zone opened to the public on Dec 25, 2014, offering over 6,000 types of imported products ranging from wine, maternal and infant supplies, fresh foodstuff to luxury items from 33 countries and regions.
Opening time: 9:30a.m.-16:30p.m.

Take free shuttles at the parking lot of Optics Valley Capital Tower at 9:00 a.m. (one hour a shift)
