Hubei Yangtze River Economic Belt Development Program (2009-2020) was published yesterday. It is the first large plan made special for the development in the Yangtze River valley.
According to the plan, 8 cities including Wuhan, Huangshi, Yichang, Jinzhou, E’Zhou, Huanggang, Xianning and En’Shi and 48 counties are in the belt, and the total area and population accounted 29.1% and 45% respectively of that in Hubei Province. |
